Why this section matters

AI tools are already used in everyday life, education, scientific work, counselling, self-help, data analysis and digital service design. Human interaction with artificial intelligence is therefore becoming a major topic not only for technical specialists, but also for psychologists, psychotherapists, educators and researchers.

The section creates a professional space where the possibilities of AI can be discussed without naive idealisation and without panic rejection: with attention to evidence, practical limits, ethics, confidentiality, professional responsibility and the boundaries of human contact.

Organisational format

Launch is planned for the second week of September 2026.

Expected rhythm: weekly or once every two weeks.

The section may include talks, seminars, round tables, discussions, workshops, working groups and practice-method sessions.

Coordinators

Anton Kolhonen

Candidate of Sciences in Psychology, Saint Petersburg State University; practicing psychotherapist.

Vsevolod Arkhipov

MA in Psychology, East European Institute of Psychoanalysis; practicing psychotherapist.
